Anyone familiar with the anime/manga series Naruto Shippuden would definitely know of the main characters’ undaunted heroism in the quest to end the pain in the lives of those around him and bring peace to not just the hidden leaf village but all surrounding hidden villages and their territories. Uzumaki Naruto’s “will of fire” not just leads him to aspire to become the next Hokage of his village, but also inspires all those around him to train harder to become better at protecting the people they love.
Naruto Shippuden starting from the first episode; gave off that impression that it was nothing more than a ‘watch cause there’s nothing better to watch anime’. At the beginning a lot of interesting facts were down played in the anime; like the fact that; Naruto is the child of legend, that the demon fox isn’t exactly a bad guy and also the awesome fight scenes present throughout the anime. In turn, the animes’ creators opted for a slower yet steady ascent into the story, starting from Naruto Uzumaki”s childhood through to his eventual rise from village truant to worldwide hero”. Even with so many antics in between the story’s main character and other things that seems to have no direct correlation to the story; the story’s progression is understandable (from the mundane to the downright addictive). As you continue to watch Naruto Shippuden or read the manga series, Naruto’s ‘Will of Fire’ becomes an almost constant presence, even being mentioned at several points in the anime series, especially in parts were he’s trying to convince an enemy as to his seriousness in becoming Hokage and saving everyone from their pain, including the enemy. Naruto Uzamaki’s tenacity and dogged ability to persist in any course of action urges his will of fire to burn even brighter.
Naruto’s constant test of his “Will of Fire” comes from his relationship with rival and friend Sasuke Uchiha. Naruto and Sasuke’s constant battle’s over the course of the anime series just shows how much Naruto holds Sasuke in high regard, referring to him as the first person who ever acknowledged him and talking to him as more of a brother than a friend. Sasuke defection from the Hidden Leaf Village only leads Naruto (who made a promise to Sakura, the only female in their team and who is secretly in love with Sasuke Uchiha) to intensify his training so that one day he would be able to battle and bring Sasuke back to the Hidden Leaf Village. Naruto’s “Will of Fire” as lead him down different paths and has made him meet and make both friends and foes alike. Naruto affable character has him eventually winning the love of his people and becoming the hero of his village. His die-hard spirit, refused him from abandoning his friend despite his attitude and this leaves the most profound expressions on everyone who comes in contact with him, eventually winning over the trust of both humans and beasts alike (Tailed Beasts).
Naruto is quite a series to watch, it’s captivating, intriguing and teaches you some sets of principles and morals that sadly are lacking in the world we live in.
